Situated between Sosua and Cabarete only 20 minutes from the airport and a short walk to the “Surfers Beach” of the Dominican Republic. 
Encuentro beach is just 10mins west of Cabarete and is a fantastic spot for both beginners and experienced surfers. There are several surf schools in the area that offer board rental and surf lessons.
